The first bunch of audio cassettes were sold off like hot cakes. The second bunch that was released later was also on selling spree.

The novel experiment by Smt Valli of Vel Records, which was marketing the audio, to check the piracy had achieved positive results.

The Vel Records are providing a book containing the stills of “Yamadonga” film along with the cassette or CD. Those who purchase the pirated cassette or CD could not get the gift.

This had helped in making the consumer get the original pieces instead of pirated ones.

Let us wait for one more week to get a clear picture about the details of the audio sales.

Yamadonga – Peppy tunes from Keeravani

Directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Cherry and Urmila Gunnam on the banner of Viswamitra Creations, ‘Yamadonga’ with NTR, Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas in the lead and Padma Shri, Dr M Mohanbabu playing a prestigious role of Yamadharma Raju and senior actress Khushuboo playing the female lead opposite him is all set for release. Keeravani scored music for the film while the audio was released into the market through Vel records. Keeravani who is known for giving melodious tunes, proved that he is less than none in giving peppy tunes to this film. As the film is a socio-fantasy movie, he chose melody and mixed a small dose of mass beat to impress NTR’s fans. All the songs were good to listen. Anant Sriram and Jonnavithula scripted songs to suit the tunes.
